Hmmm... I guess we have bumped into some emails detailing the so-call culture about having showers before.. Now they came up with the video compilation just to make the point across... isk...

This is one of the best makan-makan getaway trips during the last bulan puasa. we did a roam from place to place until it was sahur time. Mind you, terawikh kemana-mana hala ntah..
It started in Subang Jaya, about one, one and a half hours before berbuka. Once the troops were gathered, we started the first leg of the run. Destination: Restoran Ros, Kampung Baru, KL. Yup, the same place where we took Watie to have dinner not long ago.
We arrived there just minutes before breaking fast, which means there were no free tables, no free chairs and no free air time (??) which forced us to take a stroll at the nearby Raja Alang's Pasar Ramadhan and buy something to buka puasa with.
Once back to this place, I noted something interesting. I don't know about these people, once the earlier patrons finished their meals, they paid the cashier and leave. I thought they were going to laze there for a while, talking, sip a kretek or two and just kill the time - but this didn't happen. We got our seats after about 15 minutes of waiting.
We ordered our meals. The not-to-be-missed satay minang (or is it satay medan) and I ordered soto. Well... kinda heavy for me as usually, my buka puasa is much simpler than this - even a plate of rice is considered as 2 whole meals during Ramadhan... banyak wooo...
We just lepak there for a while, waiting everything to sink in and the drizzling rain to stop. At least we are not rushing like the rest. While we were at it, we bounced some ideas on where to go next. It's a rare occasion for me to drive INTO KL at its peak times, so better make this trip worthwhile.
Im has kinda poisoned us to have a bite at JCo Donuts and it has been in our minds for quite sometime then. It was agreed, next destination: The Pavilion, Bukit Bintang. I've been wondering where the heck this place was since back then, the building didn't exist. That shows how long I've never been into the Triangle. LOL!!
Then we roam the floors in search of this JCo thingy... The place is so huge , I almost lost inside it. But we made it to the shop... Boy there were a lot of people there. They are queuing for this suckers!! It may have been THAT good, or is it just a fad. Did we queue? Heck not.. the line was too long and glancing at the counters, there were not much choices left.
I guess our feet were wearing off that night. We headed back and roam in the car instead. we moved on towards Chow Kit and its vicinities and soon we're on the Federal. Which lead us to the next question.. where to next?
I didn't know the place exist in such a way. What I was expecting was more towards the conservative kopitiam setup, but the management seemed to take it to the next level. They even have wifi there and I forgot to bring my laptop... oh wait.. I don't own any laptops.. hahaha.. instead, I brought myself my new found viewfinder. A great tool for stalking. LOL!!
